    Louisiana Guide Benefit

Figured I’d post this here if anyone is interested.
I do not know Captain Mike other than I have hired him to fish in Lafitte 4 times over the last 15 years or so. I recently reached back out again to hire him to go and heard this news.
From the 4 trips I’ve had with him, he was one hell of a dude. He treated us spectacular on every single trip. They were years apart from each other, but he would remember information about us from the previous trips.
he talks to random people every day, and that blew my mind how he could remember us and some of our stories.
besides from Mike being a great person, Lafitte La might be the coolest place I have ever stayed and fish.
if you have never been, you should.

if you have a couple bucks to spare, buy a ticket. It’s going to a hard working man who doesn’t deserve this!! He will fight through and be back fishing, but he is going to struggle for a while. Anything helps!! You never know when it’s your turn

I was not able to Venmo due to not having an account, I used zelle with Rachel’s name and number which is at the bottom of the flyer. So that is another option

I’m not good with computers, and it is not allowing me to upload the flyer.
If anyone can assist, please PM me and I’ll email or text you the photo.
    thanks!

    You don’t mention anything about what’s wrong with him…. I’m guessing sick….

Lafitte is always an interesting place… I don’t have too much time invested there but I know it’s a great area…. Used to be great bass fishing right there close to the launches, maybe still is but I never hear anything about it anymore…. I think that north end silted in.. south is pretty straightforward….all inshore saltwater areas anywhere in south Louisiana is good…. Just gotta put time in to learn it….I prefer the east side of the river..

He suffered a heart attack in October and hasn’t been able to guide since.
it’s in the flyer I was trying to get posted up.
It’s been probably 4 years since I fished there also. I think that area is awesome!
one of my favorite days ever fishing was when we found the reds schooling up in the middle of lake Salvador. It was awesome!
The people of that town have always been extremely welcoming also. One of my favorite vacations I take!
