Looks like they quickly caught the guy who hit the ferry. Center console. Picture of the boat and operator in news article. Supposedly 6 people were on the boat.

A tragedy non the less but will it generate the same outrage as the accident involving a tournament bass fisherman

Leaving the scene of an accident is a cowardly and stupid thing to do. It only makes a horrific situation worse for everyone involved.

There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

Very few remain on the scene if the accident occurs at night and their boat is still operable. Alcohol is probably involved in most of these accidents. When they are eventually caught, they say they didn't realize they hit something.

The crash was captured on a webcam.

Rumor is that the operator was a prominent business owner in the area.

It looks like the boat is almost as big as the ferry. What kind of ferry? Are they shuttling people? Cars?

Apparently, the driver of the other boat passed a breathalyzer test so why would you take off from the scene - this doesn't make any sense.

It’s a miracle he didn’t kill more people the way he run through the back end of the ferry.

I wonder if he has two large screens elevated too high at the console... I wonder if he needs a taller seat..... I wonder if he should have a smaller HP engine..... Makes me wonder if there wasn't a properly colored buoy somewhere... Definitely too bad for all involved

Drove off and did not even help pick up the victims that he knocked into the water.

I'm not sure what that guy was doing, but he clearly wasn't paying attention. I hope they lock him up for a long long time.
