Splitting a Minn Kota Ultrex US2 transducer cable

Hi, I am looking for some advice on how to split a minn kota ultrex trolling motor US2 transducer cable for two different brand graphs. My ultrex trolling motor cable is currenty being used with a humminbird solix at the bow and I would like to split that cable where it gets converted for the solix and also use it on a lowrance hds live graph. I am not seeing a splitter cable for this, or know how I could share this between the two units. I had purchased a conversion cable to go from the ultrex US2 to lowrance 2d, but I cant use that for the lowrance and solix if i cant split the transducer cable into 2. Thanks for any help with this!

    I don't think it's possible.

Sly is correct. You can not run the same transducer on two different brand graphs. You can split it between two of the same manufacture however with the proper hardware.

If I were to add a lowrance 2d transducer to the bottom of the ultrex in my current configuration with the US2 transducer hooked up to the solix at the bow would that cause interference if I ran them both at the same time? If so, then I might have to just use the conversion cable that I bought for my lowrance hds live to use the US2 transducer and just use the 2d sonar on the solix from the other graph that it is hooked up via ethernet at the console using the glassed in hull transducer. Thats not probably ideal though since the transducer is a ways away from the graph at the bow.

If the Humminbird and Lowrance are broadcasting on the same frequency with the transducers that close, the cross-talk will screw up both units.

How would I know if they were the same frequency?

You would have to look at both spec’s. Trust what Wayne says or look it up yourself. You can be 100% sure you will have issues. JMO Bob

You set the frequency yourself. Most offer 83 and 200 kHz. Plus many offer Med and High CHIRP. In the Lowrance at least frequency is set on the first menu screen. But most of those frequencies are so close, or useless in shallow water that you will almost certainly never eliminate all the interference. Perhaps provide more detail on what you are trying to do. Why do you need two screens showing the same data on different brand graphs? Maybe we are missing something

I already had an active target 2 and lowrance live graph from my old boat. My new to me boat has all humminbird graphs/ethernet/nmea…ect. I would like to add the lowrance graph and active target 2 that I am accustomed to up front at the bow with an existing solix 10 gen1 at the bow. The solix is currently hooked up to the minn kota US2 cable, along with ethernet and NMEA to another solix gen 1 at the console. I wanted to try and share the 2d sonar from the minn kota between the solix and lowrance graph at the bow. If I dont have 2d sonar for the lowrance, i dont know how well that would work with using the active target 2.
