    Vintage Lures

Does anyone have an idea what these are and are they of any value? All I know is they are way before my time.

Bombers, hellbenders, lucky 13, hula poppers. Depending on condition and color and I don’t see great condition or rare colors I’d say $3-$5 and maybe $10 if there’s something I missed.

Why do you say that? A coworker is going through family belongings prior to having an estate sale and found them in the attic.

I was just making reference to the Hell Bender, Bomber etc. lures. He was trolling one of those lures at the time I think.
It was a 600 series Pearl Bomber he was using, I found after a quick search.

Make me feel older than I already feel.
I don't know there names, but used baits like all I see except 1. I actually have some somewhere in my piles or scrap boxes.

Probably not much, but that’s a lot of memories for me right there.

Hellbenders, Bombers, Chuggers. Good old-fashioned baits that still will rake in the bass. Hellbenders are killer.

I remember when I was kid reading in bassmaster about figure 8’ing a hula popper on a cane pole and wanting to try it….. my stepdad said that was “stupid”…. I never tried it..

Used and still have several of each of those sitting in an old tackle box somewhere.

I have my Grandfather's, Dad's, uncles and my own large metal tackle boxes with all of the old school lures and tackle, rods, reels. My son will own them soon from this old guy.

If that’s a lure box on the bottom of the box. Very old under $2 for a lure that would fit in that box. $12-15 today

Bombers, Hellbenders, Hula Popper, Flatfish. Depending on the finish, around $ 10 to a collector.

Sell the lure boxes too. Sometimes they are worth more than the lure itself.

There’s a market for the Bombers/Hellbenders, looking at the condition they aren’t collectors, they’re fishers. Might get $5 apiece tops.

Hula Poppers are still made, don’t think there’s anything special with yours.

On the left looks like maybe a Cordell Spot? A few bucks.

Those lure boxes on the bottom could be of interest to collectors.

Is the Ryobi reel in the box?
