this tournament is probably one of the more interesting that I have followed since being able to follow tournaments in real time…. It’s mind blowing that he’s going to win with a 45+ lead over second!!


his pattern strongly reminds me of when KVD won the classic here at lake Cat… everyone ran off far and he won 15 minutes from the launch…. But it was a perfect storm as he was in the right place at the right time when the big fish moved up….

That’s funny!! Not going to lie, I went and dug in my shed looking for some… I know I bought some back when crush city first came out…. I hated the bronco bug, the way it acts in the water is just weird…. But I love the cleanup craw.. I found 2 packs of bronco bugs and I’ll try to throw them a little more…

I bought 4 pk when they came out and wasn’t a fan either , made bout 10 cast and put baby brush hog back on ! But I also know he prob could caught em with any brand ! He was just dialed

I think you may be right. I think it's interesting how so many anglers just stick with traditional fishing and don't embrace FFS. The number of big name pros who just continue to burn down bank and throw a spinnerbait or chatterbait...its like they refuse to change. They either know their time is up or they know BASS will make a change (i believe it is more so the latter)

Why? This wasnt some new pattern, its been going on for a few years on different places. Other guys were doing it this weekend and lots were using it in other ways. He just found the right place at the right time when others didnt. Im far from a pro and ive done the same patterns as him and Fothergill on rayburn with good success and with failure. I highly doubt this changes anything

I don't know if the sky is falling or not. I do know that a lot more fish are being caught that otherwise wouls not be. How does that play into the future of a fishery? I do not know. All natural resources are limited. It will take a few more years of studies I assume.

I’m as big of Welcher fan as anyone and he deserves good things but just common sense says this can’t go on , no way the sport can continue like this !

again I like Kyle Welcher , watched his videos for years , but winning by that kinda margin is prob overall not a good thing ! We can circle back late fall , I got a hunch big change is coming in the top tier tourneys !

bass has had 3 reg tourneys and 2 of them where over the 3rd day , I just don’t see them being thrilled with that but I’m just a redneck !
