Coral 202 Merc 200 carb bogging

2000 Coral 202 with a 2000 Mercury 200 carb. It runs great on the water and doesn't seem to bog. However, as soon at it touches the trailer it will not push itself up. The motor bogs and dies. I can't make heads or tails of it. This probably belongs in the Mercury forum, but I figured I would start here. Does anyone else have this issue or solution?

I used to have the same problem and never could figure it out. When I got my new motor the guy said I had bad gas and it was enough that it was just mixing new gas with the bad gas. I don't know if that was the actual problem but maybe a little insight for ya.

Did it do this before? or is it something new?
Are you saying that you are doing it at idle? which may not have enough power to push the water thrust. Try to put your trailer a little deeper in the water, but you are right that you may receive a better solution in the Mercury forum, so don't forget to post your serial number or Don Weed will remind you.
BTW, I have carpeted bunks, so every now and than, I use Dove soap on them that my wife uses to shave her legs and other areas once it gets about half way.
