    Surface Rust on Trailer

After bringing my boat out of storage (indoor) there was a significant amount of surface rust on my trailer. Im going to sand it and will need to cover it after. Any suggestions on what to cover it with? Automotive paint? Ideally I'd like to have it powder coated again but thats not in the current budget. Thanks

Get a Rattle Can of EPOXY paint and sand or steel wool the rust away and use Zink Chromate primer.
