Needing setup help from the tracker 190tx owners!!!

I have a 2016 tracker 190tx with a 115 pro xs. the motor is mounted all the way down on the transom( that's how it came). I have a 3 blade stainless 20p laser ii prop. I feel like i have two issues. #1 being , I'm only seeing 41mph at 5500rpm and will spin up to about 6100rpm with no mph gain. I feel that the 41mph is alot slower than most threads I read with ppl saying they are getting 50 to 51 at 6300 rpm. #2 when trimming the motor, the boat does react and the bow lifts but it doesn't seem to lift enough as the water spray is just infront of the console. Was told all growing up that most boats the spray should be about the drivers seat or further back. I'm sure I'm missing somthing. Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct that 41 is on the slow end, 50-51 is at the limit of the boat with a normal load.

Are you using GPS speed? What are you referencing for your RPM, tach or vessel view?

    There's a prop video/setup on my channel for my 2020 190TX.

I'm in the second hole with a 19p powertech and see 48-50 at 6300 on my 195 with a 115proxs. I tried a 20p and I saw no difference in speed just lower rpms and worse holes hot. I was in the 3rd hole and I think it ran best there for me it just didnt like to hold on in sharp turns.

I agree that your speed and performance are abnormally low. Mine and my nephew's PT190/w 115 pro XS and the stock prop ran 46-48 with a full load (fuel, gear and 2 people) and stock 21 pitch prop. My boat would get "loose" at 48 MPH GPS at 5500 RPM. This was with the motor all the way down on the transom. I changed to the Spitfire X7 19 pitch four blade and raised the motor to the second hole. 49 MPH GPS at 6300, solid handling and better hole shot. I'm not familiar with your Laser prop so I'm no help there.

What hole is your motor mounted in? On the day I installed my X7 I had already raised the motor. As an experiment I ran the stock prop with the motor raised. Performance sucked, I mean really sucked. I went back to the landing and swapped the prop out to the X7 and it became a different boat.

Goodman_fishing. For mph I'm using the garmin fish finder gps and the stock tac for rpm. Goldstar225. The motor is all the way down on the transom so that would be the top hole. Also want to point out my 115 pro xs is a 2 stroke and I'm thinking the wot rpm is right at 6,000.

21 LaserII should be the ticket. I would mount at hole #3. Mine is and turns 6,000.
