should i put new electronics and trolling motor on prior to sale....?

Or should I just discount the boat and let the new buyer select his own.....and rig it the way he wants....

I've got a 2014 Z119c Ranger with very low hours on the motor (under 100 hrs)........

I agree with not adding any electronics. Let the buyer make that decision as people have definite preferences.

Don’t wast the time or money.. most buyers aren’t concerned with having the newest and greatest gen model units. Also you’d won’t, and shouldn’t, expect to even break retail value on it.

if it was me and I really was horned up for new tech, I’d rather buy and install it than have someone else put it on just for the sale

As is. Let whoever put their own electronics on it. That is what I would prefer.

That’s a tough one. What’s in there now?

As a buyer, I typically look for boats that have decent or newer electronics but at the same time, having a blank canvas can be what someone else wants.

The one thing for sure is you’ll never get the money you put into new electronics back out in the sale so for the seller, it’s probably not worth it.

Absolutely not, you will not get anywhere near your money back.

Just sell it for what you can get and move on. Good luck.

If someone wants to pay with a loan electronics do not get factored in.

Sell as is. Let the buyer choose their own electronics and mount them where they want them.

Sell as is. Let the buyer decide what electronics they want.

Legacy electronics are something someone will replace quickly and you won't get anything extra for them anyway. New electronics you are going to take a hit on so might as well just sell bare.

    Good luck!

Might help you sell it but I don’t think you can recover the cost of them.
