We could sell stuff too.... particularly if you don't have anything to trade with.

The original intention though, was to get new tackle without dipping further into your wallet. I know that I personally have a few hundred pounds of perfectly good plastics - each bag may have a few taken out, but most are full. I buy "new colors" all the time, and end up going back to the tried and true colors that have worked for me all these years.

We used to do this among friends over at my old apartment. Probably had more tackle laying on my living room floor than Bass Pro Shops Hampton has on hand on any given day.

Rods, reels, plastics, jigs, hard baits, etc... If it's fishing related... bring it.

We did come across a few out of pocket buys - expensive stuff that nobody had any trading material for - I don't even think we knew what Lucky Craft was back then. The most expensive thing I owned tackle wise back then were some Japanese made "Monster King" spinnerbaits.

Come on down (when we decide where to have it)! Bring trading material (or cash) and make some good deals / make some new friends.

It's actually more about the get-together than anything. This ain't no sponsored event... so as long as it's AFTER we get off the water.... break out the
