    loos braided wire

    s/n 2B135380.

    What is this braided wire that is loose, and where should it be connected? I don't see any place that it could have come from.

    For grounding on stuff like that leads to corrosion issues so definitely do it. Heck you could make your own ground wire if you had to or replace the ends.
