17 lb bass caught in cali

Hello. Got word a 17 lb bass caught in central CA. By a bank fisherman. DFG has been planting trout lately. Waiting on Jiggin 4 Bass to confirm on Western bass site as the lake the fish was caught at is by his hometown. Hope there's pics to confirm. Thanks. BC

No word yet the lake is Hensley lake in central Ca. It is a LMB lake. Perch crappie catfish. And seasonal trout plants from Nov through end of April.
Eastman lake 13 miles northeast of Hensley lake is a lake That has both LMB & FLMB perch crappie and catfish and seasonal trout from Nov through April.

Wow, that's a huge fish! Makes the 8 lber i caught last week look small. I was using the same scale.

I like fishing them both during the week this time of year. Trout plants for both again we're on March 17th
