I grew up by a river so we fished every day we could. My 2 brothers and I sold
night crawlers to local Hardware store for 1 cent a piece just so we could buy
tackle. We would sell 10,000 at a time.
That's how I grew up.
Mom used to get a little upset when didn’t hear her holler to come in for supper, we’d be busy shooting are BB guns back in the woods.

That’s the way it was for us. My Dad bought an old farm bell that he put up on a pole outside the house. When we were supposed to come home, he or Mom would ring that bell that could be heard all over the neighborhood.
