    Another lithium battery question

I got 3 live 12 units & at1. I am thinking about adding a 100ah battery just for the electronics too try and clear up the interference on at1. Will a 100ah battery be enough to power theses all day. I just dont have enough space for a group 31 battery, so it needs to be group 27. thanks

It should be plenty. I run two Pro 12’s, a Live 16, Live 12, AT 2, a turret, two NMEA networks, livewell pumps and start my 90hp outboard off a single 105ah Impulse Lithium All Purpose. I’ve fished for seven hours and still had 42% charge.

Before buying a new battery, have you tried shutting down EVERY transducer on the boat and looking at whether your interference is acoustic? I run all electronics including AT off my starter battery. As long as I stop 2D, Sidescan, and Downscan on the bow unit, the image on AT is perfectly clear. True electrical interference would very likely show on all sonar screens not just AT.

Agree with NoCAL; most interference is from SideScan, DownScan, and 2DSonar. Turn all off at your console and bow and then check. But to answer your question a 100 aHr will work just fine over a full day of fishing.

To eliminate AT 2 interference, I have to stop sonar on all units, bow and console. What trolling motor are you running?

Okay, the reason I asked was that my Minn Kota Fortrex caused a lot of interference on my Lowrance units that I could never get rid of.
