SHO thermostats - replace or check?

I have around 250hrs on my 2017 250 SHO and was wondering if anyone changes out thermostats at any given point. All I have done so far with this engine is engine oil, lower unit oil, water/separating filter, primary fuel filter which I do every year. Ive also changed the impeller at 150hrs. Just looking to see if I am missing anything on maintenance.

Thermostats are typically changed on condition.

Yamaha suggests an inspection every year or every 100 hours whichever occurs first.

If temperature is monitored with no changes, what are you looking for with the stats

temps are fine and working good.....I ready that Yamaha recommends replacement 300hrs/3yrs but wasn't sure about that.

I have a 2016 200 SHO. I use it in salt water. 292 hrs You can’t tell by looking it’s ever been in salt water. Even though I flush and wash after EVERY use, I check the thermostats at each annual service and oil change regardless of hrs. I’ve changed them once even though there was no evidence of overheating or temp rise. There was evidence on the thermostats of corrosion. They cleaned up easily and I would not have a problem reusing on a temporary basis. While saltwater is more corrosive, fresh water can also cause serious issues with thermostats. That’s why they put them on the checklist.
