Take 58 west to 95....take 95 south and take the Gaston exit Rt.46....Follow that all the way to 5th street on your right....and take that right and look for sign that says boat ramp after you cross railroad tracks.....It is an awesome fishery.....small but some nice fish in there.
thanks patrick......any tips?![]()

Yea....I won our club tournament there this year. I will share a spot with ya for a c-rig. Oh...one thing to keep in mind. Do not and I mean do not run down the middle. It is shallow and alot of grass and big stumps!!! Follow the left shoreline and stay between the marker buoys until you get down to the north and south channels. You will see where it splits. On your left you will see a point with rocks on it. It has a saddle and stumps on the saddle. Fish it with a big critter craw (they are eating crawfish there) on a c-rig. I pulled 8 or 9 fish out of there back in June. Also any of the bank early in the morning on the south channel side from the power line back topwater action. That is where I got the 8.2lber in the pics posted back in June.
There is also a creek right across from the ramp. You cant miss it and it has a huge opening. Fish the cove on the left going in and the rock and laydowns on the right. Fluke got a good keeper out of there also. Run the rig in there as well. It has a very deep drop off on the left bank.
If the grass is topped off in the middle the frog bite might be good as well in the am. The grass bed in the middle of the lake is like a mile long x 1/2 mile wide.![]()
damn....i feel like ive been there after that write-up.....thanks man![]()

Anytime.....Defintely no guarantees but that worked in June....
In basshunters first post, he said take Rt. 46 exit. I think the highway you want is Rt. 48. Take exit 180 and make right on Hwy. 48. Then follow that to Fifth street and make right as he said. Hwy. 46 is the next exit up. Not trying to step on basshunters toes, just a local trying to help.

Your right....I always go one more up and turn off by the best western. Then follow that down to the light and make a left which puts you on that route. Thanks for setting it straight and welcome to BBC.
thanks fellas![]()
