    Pump out pumps location sucks

I have a 2009 20X3 and was going to replace the pump out pumps. They are so close to the fuel tank that you can't get them out. I'm going to have to loosen the nut inside the livewell just to get them out. Who designs this stuff? And, all the hoses are siliconed and clamped.20250212_123633.jpg

Yes.........all of the pumps, i.e., livewell fill pumps, pump out pumps, recirculate pumps, and bilge pumps are a major PITA to replace. These Tritons are so deep in the transom and the access door so narrow, you have to stand on your d*** head upside down to reach them. And those hoses clampled to the plumbing with silicon on them makes the job even harder. I have to replace a couple on mine this spring as well and really dread that task.
