So I get a call today about 2:30pm for a customer here is Waynesboro, Va. that has had a chemical spill. This customer is a nation wide deal for another vendor and we are a sub contractor to them. They tell me that they have a spill and need immediate response. I have nobody available so its to the road for me.
I get up here only to find that the chemical which they said was liquid joint compound was actually drywall mud and the bottoms of some 5 gallon buckets had split but it had already hardened up. So 37 buckets of hardened drywall mud in the back of the truck, shrink wrapped and im back on the road headed home in the morning. Just thought maybe some might be hitting some Crown this evening and need a good laugh. I just love my job...![]()
