    Good Evening from Waynesboro, Va.

So I get a call today about 2:30pm for a customer here is Waynesboro, Va. that has had a chemical spill. This customer is a nation wide deal for another vendor and we are a sub contractor to them. They tell me that they have a spill and need immediate response. I have nobody available so its to the road for me.

I get up here only to find that the chemical which they said was liquid joint compound was actually drywall mud and the bottoms of some 5 gallon buckets had split but it had already hardened up. So 37 buckets of hardened drywall mud in the back of the truck, shrink wrapped and im back on the road headed home in the morning. Just thought maybe some might be hitting some Crown this evening and need a good laugh. I just love my job...

The mountains look cool and I did see a jonboat being pulled today that was a 14footer with a 40 horse tiller steer today....Bet that thing would beat a Gambler... Sorry Mike.......

Well just got back and what a trip....Had a flat tire, lost 5 pails but reclaimed them...wonderful shrink wrap material that was sure to hold.....Left at 5:30 am this morning and just got back....only a 3 1/2 hour drive that turned into 7 hours....

Those are my old stompin grounds. Grew up across the mountain near Crozet... Got ran out of Waynesboro more than my share of times by the law, though.

Waynesboro , that was my birth place but I have lived here in Cecil county MD. since I was about 6 months old. Used to spend my summers in Greenville VA when I was a kid. That is probably 20 miles or so south of Waynesbore.

The top of Afton mountain looked like a ghost town the other day. I was going to slide by the old Howard Johnsons up there and grab some breakfast but it was shut down.

Yeah, That and Waynesboro itself has really been dead for a while, they are trying to pull some more business into that area, I think. I hope it picks up. I have to tow across that mountain to get to just about anywhere decent to fish. I sure miss living on the other side of it.

Don't feel bad, I think I've got the only Bass Boat in Broadway. At least I haven't seen another one yet.
