    Elites in Pakatka 2/2025

    Usually I go watch awhile from my boat
    but cold temps plus Wednesday nite rain
    very bad bass mojo..
    Probably pros scouting as of today.
    T Day 1 is Feb 20th

    Maybe get my usual shirt n see if any bait booths….
    under 4 miles from home so why not?

    I'm planning on launching down south end of George and try a watch a few during practice tomorrow... if it isn't too cold lol. Wed is a 100% rain forecast Media/Credential/Boat Inspection day since this is first event of the year, so most guys wont' even practice Wed iirc... Tourney time I'll just watch on Live most likely.

    due to DAILY suppressed water temp plus low river … plus no Rodman due to locks busted…
    nites under 50 degrees are bad mojo…
    booths open noon Friday to sell cool shirts and maybe baits …

    Oddly, the Department of Environmental Protection.. I think. I may have changed, though. Originally, it was the US Army COE, which woud be expected, but once the Barge Canal project was finally shut down in '92, all assets were transferred to the St. John Water Management District. But back in the late 90's, it changed again to the DEP.
