    Took the Qi35 Plunge.

Just ordered my new driver. Tried the new Taylormade Qi35 Max at the simulator and could not pass it up.
I only bought the head cuz I love my shaft and grip i use now.
NOW if only all the white SH*T would melt and I can hit the driving range to dial it in.
    COME ON SPRING…..

83 degrees today in San Antonio. Played 18 at La Canterra. Nice track which used to be home of the Texas Open or Valero Open until 2008.

1997-2000 lived 15 from La Canterra, played there a few times. There was a public course nearby that was good too, can’t recall name. Was down there a few years ago on business, wow it has grown.

yep. it be big and bigger than I remember. Concrete everywhere in Texas along interstates and in the big cities.
We played La Cantera again today.
87 degrees and I shot 84. I like when I can beat the temperature!!
But high for Thursday at Fork is 43 degrees.
That will be a shock for the Florida strainers and me too!
First two legit rounds of the year for me and both in the GHIN now.

Went to Greune Hall Thursday night and saw Lyle Levit and his acoustic band.
    Very good.
Cool three day trip for us with two rounds of golf and no fishing!
Headed home tomorrow to watch the superbowl.

I stayed at the La Cantera resort for a Bentley software conference in 2017. Truly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at stateside. We always thought Texas was desert bushes and cacti.. got there and it had a similar feeling to the western N.Y. kinda flat, but kinda rolling hills too.

I arrived about a day after the other guys, and sure enough they went golfing at the course before I got there… so we ended up going to top golf which was an absolute blast

Next time you are at Fork, you need to bring your clubs and play The Links at Lands End. It sticks out on a peninsula on Fork. Very cool and fun course to play at a very reasonable price.
