    Bow lift

I have a 2021 AVX 1880 that I need to get more bow lift after replacing batteries with Lithiums. I am hauling around one AGM battery for weight and it helped, but very little. All tackle, gear, etc. has been rearranged. Mercury 115 with Tempest 23 prop. Max rpm’s are 5200 and gps speed is 42 plowing thru the water. Motor is installed in second hole from the top. What are my options here?

Maybe try a 21" pitch Tempest to get your RPMs up more and a 6" jack plate would help some, but you aren't going to get a whole lot more speed out of it than that. It's a nearly 19 foot long boat with an 8' wide beam and only has a 115 on it.

I think your prop is too large, hence low rpms. As stated, a 21" prop will increase rpms but not sure on bow lift. My 2021 AVX 1880 has 2 lithium and 1 wet cell. My engine is a Yamaha 115 and has good bow lift. I'm running a 4 blade 18" prop with the engine all the way down on transom. Great hole shot and bow lift with rpms at 6100 and speed of 47-48 mph.

Before you start playing with props, drop your engine one hole. That is usually the first thing that others with pad hulls do when taking weight out of the stern by going to lithium. Of course it's easier to do with a jack plate.

Before buying props make sure you elimate any mechanical issues. Is your trim going up and staying there? I your throttle fully engaging?
It surpises me you lost RPMs.

Thank you for all the replies and looks like I will have several things to try and will start with dropping the engine. Seems as though the trim has a limiter but I think it is going up as far as possible. How would I know if my throttle is not fully engaging as zaprod suggested I look at?

Sounds like a cupping problem on your prop. Empty the weight out or the front drivers side compartment. If you see a big change it’s very likely the prop cupping, If it a fury prop over 3 years old, it’s the prop.

I had to take mine to my dealer and they hooked it up to a laptop to see if it was opening fully, not sure how else to do it....

too big of prop, 18-19p is what you need with that 115, I run a Powertech 18p ptr3, and a turbo1 19p and had cup added by croxton, both doo great turbo1 gives me more bow lift . but I do have a 2022 1875 lund renegade, non pad hull though. shouldn't matter
