Overheat and Oil Light bad or short?

I have a 96 Procraft V200 with a 96 Mariner Magnum 200HP EFI. The light that is tied to the alarm system seems to be giving me issues. As soon as I turn the key I get the usual system check series of beeps and the light flashes to the beeps. In addition to the system check beeps I get a steady beep that will not go off. I suspected it to be something with the light so began investigating. If I reach behind the panel that hold the light and move the wires around at the light the beep will get lower in decibels. I don't see any wires exposed causing a short to ground. Could it be the light itself causing the continuous beep or something in the throttle control box? Where can I find a replacement light? I tried an small led light but it didn't work so I assume it didn't have the necessary specs to be a replacement. Looking for ideas to the root cause and/or see if anyone has ever experienced the same thing.

Check the tank w/blue stripe wire coming from your temp sensors for any melted or chafed spots.

Could also be a problem with the oil warning module, or the ground for the module.
