I need a navionics card for a couple lakes in NC. The vision + adds multiple depth levels which would be helpful. i can not find anything about usage in anything other than a Garmin device. Any insight?

No, you can only use the Navionics versions.
Garmins can't use the Navionics versions, has to be the Garmin Navionics products.

If you have a recent Helix (Gen3 or 4) you might look at the maps from Lakemaster. I think you can still get a 30 day trial on the One boat network APP and check out all the VX maps. Then you can set whatever depth the lakes happen to be day by day. Cost you nothing to check it out if you have a cell phone. JMO Bob
