For a fish, the end of a barbed hook is the 'point' of no return ...
No wonder, it's one of the only ramps around that'll get you in deep water.
When I went out last night from that ramp I noticed shad. LOTS of shad for 15 miles. That dang stretch of water has more shad than I've seen in a LONG time. They looked like little porpoises following the boat.
I'm gonna head out with a cast net in the next week, do a drift & see what comes up. If nothing else it's good nature time which is always good
