I have not attended a rally in several years (mostly due to health issues or tourneys) My health is much better so I can participate some now.
The only dates I could attend are Oct. 7-8 or Oct. 14-15 but don't let me start or stop ya'll from having a rally.

Starting a new business and planning my other trips will limit my time on helping put tourney together.

Please remember when I speak of north and south we are talking about 12 miles from Dam to Hwy. 155 Bridge up north. Lake goes much farther but not advisable to follow creek. There are several good boat ramps on Pines and easy to launch. Some have a $3.00 launch fee.

I am in no way pushing Pines but, if you want to have it here I can give you names of three places I would recommend staying (one has only seven rooms but lots of RV hook ups. All three are on the water. Tejas Village is on far south end, Johnson Creek Marina is not quite as far south. and then This one up north (name change so ???) As for banquet it could be held at Catfish Village or maybe Tejas Village. I would be glad to have a do and don't session of the lake on the night before tourney. (I have fished it 40 years). Pines when full is a shallow lake (3'-12' except down south on main body of water. There are many ditches, sloughs, creeks etc. that run off of marked boat lane. As a rule fish will be in the flats and sloughs around grass and Lily Pads (which now is in abundance). This is a very popular tourney lake so booking rooms should be done now (so to speak). Bobby has fished this lake several times so he might give some input concerning this matter....... That's it for now.
