Decided to take the boat out of winter storage today and blow fogging oil out of her. Ive got a 96 175 FastSrike;model # J175GLEDB, serial # G04061097. She started up fine and then after maybe 5 minutes the alarm statrs to go off. It would sound for 2 or 3 seconds stop for a second then repeat. There was a good steady stream coming from the pea hole at the time. Is this an oil or fuel issue. I had the same thing happen last couple of times on the water last fall. I would shut her down right away; wait a couple of minutes; start her back up and she was fine for the rest of the day. Any suggestions appreciated. Was also wondering if this could be an ethonal water problem. My motor doesnt have a fuel separtor but I did fill the tanks and used maine stabill when I put her away.
