    Mercury 300r on a 24 Superboat

Looking into RE rigging my 1993 24’ Superboat with a new Mercury 300R. Has anyone made this change yet that could offer some advice?

Really will likely need to look at newer controls, cables and steering. While
some of what you have can be adapted, it’s likely
much safer to re-rig with new given the age/engine combo.

Thanks don, definetly going to run everything new, was more curious to hear if anyone else did a similar upgrade and how the boat handled the new power
