Replacement of all 4 trailers springs on a Marine master trailer.

I have a 2018 Phoenix 21 PHX w/ Marine Master dual axle trailer. It is a low profile trailer. Would like to know how many on here have had issues with trailer springs as this is my first time with this type of break down? Recently, on a fishing trip I had a broken spring. Got it fixed. Maybe I went overboard a little, but in my mind, when is the next ones going to go. So, I've had them all replaced. The question I am asking is, if this has happened to you, How long did it take to change them all out? From the time you started taking the old ones off to the new ones were back on. Weather or not you done the job or had someone do it for you.

usually--the main reason to not buy a phoenix is the trailer!

Well, realized that later or to late. Love my boat though. But I got a good deal on the rig at the time.

Had a trailer shop replace mine on my tandem axle trailer (springs, shackles, bolts, equalizers, bushings) and it was well worth it. They came up with the perfect combination of components & raised my fender clearance 1.25”…..at my request….making it much easier to change tires (glass fender clearance was too tight if using anything but a floor jack).

I say well worth it because cost was very reasonable and I had the trailer back the same day.

About three or four years ago, my 2013 Marine Master trailer broke a spring. Of course I was a long way from home. ( I was at Eufaula and live in Virginia.) Had a hard time trying to match it so I could get home. Called Marine Master and they said they had an issue with certain year model springs. They sent four new springs for free. Give them a call and check if yours are involved.

My trailer was out of warranty. My new springs did come from Marine Master. They were very helpful... this time. Had an issue early in the spring and did not have the same results from them. At that time, all of my issues on this trailer were on me. Going to leave it right there.
