Stop cold and flu in its tracks

I've used this tactic many times. Trust me, it works. I finally got my wife to try it yesterday after it became obvious that she was about to get sick with lots of coughing and clearing the throat. This morning, not a peep from her. Here's how to do it. It won't work if you wait. The moment you start to notice a discomfort in your throat, goggle with Listerine. DON'T WAIT! (It's a good idea to keep some on hand during cold and flu season). EACH TIME YOU ARE REMINDED BY THAT FEELING IN YOUR THROAT, GARGLE AGAIN, GETTING IT AS FAR DOWN YOUR THROAT WITHOUT SWALLOWING IT AS POSSIBLE. You may GARGLE ten times in a few hours. But the key is to repeat the process every single time you are reminded that you are about to get sick. (caps are used to emphasize the importance)

My theory with this is once you are infected with the virus, it starts to replicate itself until it reaches critical mass, then it's army of attackers are dispersed throughout your body. When that happens, you have a full blown cold or the flu. That sensation in your throat is the virus replicating itself. You must immediately block that replication to defeat it. There's not much you can do if you allow it to replicate other than treating the symptoms. But by killing the germs before they can reach critical mass, you will have sucessfully stopped the invasion that we call a cold or the flu. There is ongoing research to see determine if Listerine will do the same for Covid. If you try it, let us know if it worked for you.

That's kind of the same theory behind using zinc products at the first sign. Probably should gargle Listerine and then pop some zinc.
Some people are so judgemental. You can tell just by looking at 'em.--Some random meme

The use of goggle in this thread makes it hilarious. I'll try it, it could work. Thanks for the laugh

So the virus only replicates in your throat? Interesting.

Now if you Google something and it worked almost everyone would be fine. But on the process I'm sure it helps.

Well if it works you can be sure the formula will be changed or the product itself will be gone.

I start getting a sore throat I immediately gargle with 50/50 hydrogen peroxide and water. Spit out. Don’t swallow! After spitting the bubbles and fizzing part for a while drink a shot of Woodward Reserve. The bourbon part doesn’t do anything except make me look forward to my next cold/flu virus!

I would advise against using the blue Listerine, it's not strong enough. It has never worked for me.
