Question Garmin Force or Minn Kota Quest Ultrex

What is everyone's opinion on both the Garmin Force or Minn Kota Quest Ultrex? Pros or Cons? The only major difference that I've been able to pickup from online information is that the Minn Kota will follow map contours from a Humminbird whereas I'd have to manual draw my course if I want to follow a counter on Garmin, which may or may not be as bad as it seems depending on how I set pre-defined waypoints or draw with a touchscreen fishfinder. I figure that the Quest will force me to upgrade my bow fishfinder sooner than later to use iPilot Link (see equipment below), since I haven't heard if any of the legacy fishfinders work with Quest.

I currently have a Minn Kota Terrova US2 45" 24V trolling motor from 2013 that I was thinking about just upgrading to iPilot Link until I installed Livescope onto the boat. My boat is an 18' Skeeter SF-175 which the current Terrova is powerful enough for my crappie fishing needs. My other equipment are HB 1199 at console and HB 1199 at bow for non-MEGA 360, and I have a Garmin Echomap UHD 93sv at the bow to run my LVS32 and GLS10. The LVS32 and 360 are on a pole mount backet system that I built to hang off the side the boat, although I could move the 360 to the trolling motor when I upgrade. Later on down the road, if the 360 dies, I'd probably upgrade the 1199 to a newer HB Helix that can run a MEGA 360, if I don't upgrade for QUEST, and I'm open to running either HB or Garmin at the console.

At this point, all of the big 3 and powerpole current brushless models are good. They mainly do the same thing, have the same features with some minor differences, and all have a few quirks as well (Quest just coming out we don't know much about it yet). However, unless you are looking specifically for a feature a brands doesn't offer, I believe it's best to stick with your MFD brand, specifically the brand you use for Navigation and Waypoints if you use multiple brands.
