1998 TR21 Compartment lid lift shocks

Anyone know what lift shocks I should order? I need 3, one for each rod locker and one for the tackle compartment.

I bought direct replacements (can't find my invoice in my email) a few years ago. I will say order a stronger lift than factory spec. Mine barely hold the lid up, no lift at all.

They were all missing when I got the boat, so I have no numbers to use to reference. That's why I figured I'd ask here

Yeah! The downside of buying a repo'ed boat. I suppose.
They even pulled the metal "firewall" and floor out of the battery compartment!

Radio is gone, just a giant hole.

Gauges broken what appear to be on purpose.

Anything that wasn't bolted down was gone, and even some stuff that was!


The way my trolling motor sits, my rod locker opens and hits the head of the TM when it's not deployed, so it turns into a juggling act to keep the lid open and pull rods out.
Then if I'm not careful getting tackle out, that lid flops all the way over and will slam on top of the rods too.

Easy fix, if you know what shocks they are! LOL Be done installing them in less time than it takes to type this. BUT... with all of them missing, the difficulty goes up.

I THINK I found something last night They are 12" extended. 40lb. Part number SL 35-40.

I'm going to order a couple cheap ones off Amazon just to make sure that's the right size before I get better ones.
