Engine connector is a flat 4-pin connector under the engine cowling. You need the interface cable 000-0120-62 available from Lowrance and Evinrude distributors.
Once you have the Etec interface able it is plug and play.
ciao,
Marc
The interface cable works with 2005 and newer 115-300 HP and 2008 and newer 40-300 HP E-TECS
Maybe my infos are outdated but I have in 2006: 200,200ho, 250

Ok, Well I ordered the etec nema cable and after it is installed, I'm going focus on the water pressure for the nema. Any things I need to watch out for while adding a nema water pressure.
Nope, but it works great, just follow instructions.

I'll add their is a chance that the function is enabled. You can hook the transducer up and see if the data is displayed on your Lowrance. If the water pressure data isn't there then you'll need the software. E-tecs didn't come out of the factory with the water pressure function turned on. But with yours being a 2005 a dealer or someone with the software could have enabled it in the last 18 years.
Their are 2 different water pressure kits. 5008300 is what you need.
5008300*WATER PRESSURE SENSOR KIT, 30 PSI | Use on 2011 and older 115 – 300 HP V4/V6 Evinrude E-TEC models
5011305
WATER PRESSURE SENSOR KIT | Use on 2012 and newer 115 – 300 HP V4/V6 Evinrude E-TEC models This part replaces 5008640
Also, Lowrance has a pressure sensor to connect to the pressure line.

Has anybody tried to use something like this it seem like a lot cheaper just wondering
