Shimano Expride flipping stick

Would the Shimano Expride 7’6” XH mod/fast be a good choice for a flipping stick with 1/2-3/4oz jigs?

I don’t have one but in the TW iCast release video Alex Davis said that the rod was developed for the guys flipping big 3/4 jigs in grass at places like Sam Rayburn.

Thanks. I'll search it as there's not a lot of info out there on this model it seems.I will be pitching in grass in Fl. 3 months out of the year.Lighter power rods tend to wear me out after a while.
