Is there one that doesn't eventually run ? Looking for a maker I can Magdrafts and other larger soft plastics that does not spread to the whole bait after a week. Spike-it seems to spread out after a few days.

JJ's Magic is my go-to as it actually penetrates all the way through the plastic basically right away vs. the Spike It where I feel like you have to get the dye on the bait in large quantities to get it to stay, but JJ's spreads out eventually too. To be clear it won't spread to the whole bait if I just dip the tail or something, but I don't remember Spike-It doing that either. A clean line will definitely bleed over after a while so that it's not a clean line anymore. In cases where you're going through multiple baits during a day, the line between dyed/not dyed will stay clean for at least a while. However, if it's one you're throwing across multiple days, I've not found a way to stop it from bleeding over.
I'm guessing you're wanting to hit specific spots on a bait and have it stay right there? If so, Spike-It Worm 'N' Chunk paint is your product. It comes in a nail polish looking container and you paint it on with a brush. There are probably 10 or more colors available too: Chartreuse, Orange, Black, Blue, Pearl, etc. It's kind of a pain to use as you have to let it sit to dry and it has a pretty strong chemical smell (especially when freshly applied), but it won't move once it's dry. I kind of think it's the same product as Mend-It with an opaque colorant added. You'll even notice that it "melts" the bait a bit wherever you paint it on. That also means it doesn't work on all soft plastics...it will melt Elaztech without adhering and do basically nothing to silicone baits (like Burritos), for example. But it works on most, Magdrafts included. I've used it to paint the very tips of claws on crawfish imitators, for example, and it really makes them pop that way.

I use Spike It, I liked JJ's Magic but it seems to evaporate very fast.
