HUMMINBIRD 360 (NON MEGA)

Recently got a 360 unit, was wondering if any one has any settings they could share to point me in the right direction.

I know each lake will required a slight modification to the settings.

It is a Side Imaging transducer that rotates so the same settings used for Side Imaging.

The slowest rotation speed gives the best images, next best is Fine-Fast.

I typically set contrast close to max and then vary sensitivity between 8-14 depending on the bottom.

The only real adjustment I ever make on my 360 is on soft bottoms I set the contrast up to 17-18 and that will make the harder objects pop. IIRC you can accomplish the same thing using red/green palette (the red objects are hard spots) but I find that palette awfully difficult to look at for more than few seconds.

As with side imaging, look for shadows - it's probably something you want to chuck a lure at.....

How do you get your waypoints to show up on your 360? I have tried everything with no luck, dealer placed a ethernet box to have all the units talk together

The original 360 came with a AS GPS HS for that purpose.
Then you have to turn on 360 Navigation.
