Can you look up the recommended prop size by motor serial#?

We are wanting to put a four blade on a pontoon. I can’t see the size of the old prop

Not entirely….the prop selection really depends a lot on the boats weight, draft, use, and horsepower. Not just horsepower.

Your best chance to get it “right”, would be to ask an experienced prop guy at a prop shop. They would probably know exactly what would work best.

No, prop size depends on what the motor is on and how it is used.

If you take the prop off, It's marked somewhere... On the outside of the barrel, or one end of the hub. Pontoons do best with low pitch, large diameter propellers. Load pushing props. Large round ears.

Thank you. I will look again. It stays in the water most of the year so it probably has a bunch of grime I can get off to see it.
