I can definitely relate to this meme lol

Fishing a tournament this past Sunday and my partner broke off his favorite jerkbait. I told him to just get in my jerkbait box and grab another. He picked out a megabass, tied it on and let it fly and fly and fly and fly.......His knot broke and that thing went out of sight.
We did eventually see it floating and got it back.

Fairly sure I've added a lipless crank or three to Elon's Starlink system.

Fishing with a guy in my club. He tied on a 100.00 swim bait and on the first cast it went into orbit to never be seen again.

I seem to calculate my trajectory all wrong and they end up 50' up a tree before they reach the wild blue yonder

A $ 25.00 jerk bait will change zip codes if you tie the correct knot that gives up at the perfect time .

Fishing can get real expensive real fast sometimes. And I somewhat had that happen this morning with a bad spot in the line by the reel but it was just a Trokar hook and tungsten weight so maybe a buck-fiddy at the most lost. Worm doesn't count.
2023 Xpress H18 with 115 SHO that's optioned to fit my wants and pulled by a little Ram.

Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Just smile and walk away.

That was just Involuntary Muscle Memory from the times you fished that area in the past when the water was high perfectly understandable to have your trajectory off a little.

I’ve sent slabs into low earth orbit that may still be there while throwing at whites and stripers.

Been there. A few years ago fishing a New Year’s Day tourney at our first stop threw a brand new Megabass jerk bait. About 3rd cast breaks off while I was fishing it in open water. End of day we had back to that spot as we had caught a couple good fish there, my partner says he had a stick. Nope, my jerk bait with about 10 feet of line. Happy day as we got no check but I lost no baits!

Usually happens to me at dusk, making sure I can't find it even if it was a floater.
