Finicky push to start button

Hi Just took possession of a 2023 520R cup equipped model and have a question re; the push to start function. Mine seems to be a little finicky to start but eventually does. Is there a trick about how hard to push or how long to hold for a sweet spot to get it to start? It always seems to take 4-5 times to get it to turn over and turn green.

i input code and push green button once to wake system up. then green button again to crank when ready to start--pushing button isn't doing anything but telling the computer to start engine. the system takes a second or two to process the command then crank engine. turns on fuel pump and such then cranks

This is the push button start system not the code and pad system….

ferris65, Just push the button lightly and let go and don't hold it down. You don't hold it down until it starts.
