    Ghost Noise

    I have the Ghost and love the motor. I hit a stump pretty hard and ever since then, the bracket creaks badly when in use. Does anyone have any ideas? I saw a video once, that I can't find now on this!

    make sure your mount to deck bolts are still tight.

    Mine did the same thing. Just shot it up with WD40.

    I use Gun Oil that I got from Bass Pro. It seems to keep the noise down for about a month, then another shot of oil. I oil all of the bushings. And yes, check the base plate bolts and the two screws that hold the head to the mount for tightness as well.
