I have the Trick Step and a 7 foot garage door and there is plenty of clearance as long as you don't have the jack cranked up too high.

Mine fits under my 7' garage door as well, it actually sits a little lower than the top of my motor. Plus, I'll tell you what they told me when I bought it, if it doesn't fit you can take the rubber handle cover off the top and cut the metal down to size and reinstall the cover.

Mine measures 6-8, that’s the two piece handle with the extension. This is on a MarineMaster trailer .

My efx clears my garage. But if it didn’t I’d just take a bandsaw to it and make it shorter. And put the cap back on it.
