    Fuel gage test

When I turn on the key the needle moves slightly. Has 3/4 tank or more in it.
I jumped the pink and black from sending unit , turned on the key and the gauge went to full.
so, I jumped the black top ground , turn on key. No change

This means my sending unit is bad/stuck right?

Either bad or poor connection at the sending unit.

Using a mirror I finally determined this is a Wema SSL 10.5" ok great .. All I have to do now is pull my live wells, unbolt the tank clamps, slide the tank back (If it'll come back without pulling filler tube), remove and replace unit. bahahahahah yep this working on boats is hair pulling.
    Who designs this stuff?
Think I'll wait and call this a winter project.

you not joking . this sending unit could have easily been placed on either end. But no..... let's put it dead in the middle where no man can ever reach.
This way they'll forget all about how we shafted them with the poorly engineered exhaust tube connection.

Ok I got it done today wasn't as bad as I thought. About an hour and a half of time and 65 dollars in parts.
