Evinrude g2 extended warranty

Hello,

My 2019 g2 150 ho warranty will end June of 2024. I heard a person can buy an extended warranty before the original expires, but I cannot find any info on this. Does evinrude still offer extended warranties?

I'm not sure I would want one. From what I have read those with warranty issues are waiting long long long periods of time to get OEM parts for warranty repairs. Without a OEM warranty you can scrounge around and get parts better, even if they are used parts it puts you back on the water much faster.

Thank you for the replies. I understand about the oem. Friend hasn't had a boat since March because of warranty parts. Crazy times
