Nice promo for Edenton but terrible for the fishery. Just ask the people around Raleigh what kind of pressure it put on their fisheries . People came from all over the country because they saw Jacob Wheeler catch a 8lbder at Harris . BAD NEWS FOR THE FISHERY .

you can say that again. Last thing I want to see is the major tours coming to anywhere I like to fish regularly. Never a good thing when the ding queens come to your body of water.

I don’t think that put near the pressure as those two 35+ lb bags caught two weekends in a row a couple years before. That is what got MLF there in the first place. I fished Harris before he caught the 8lber and after and didn’t notice much more pressure at all. I did find people from way up north (whole clubs) come down after the big bags were caught. They also didn’t do worth a damn and vowed to never return. Our lakes are gone and forgotten now, especially since the ruined Harris. They probably won’t come back. I mean a whopping 5 lber won the big fish for $100,000.00. A damn 5 lber? They had to make you think Ish was sitting on a monster. Don’t nobody give a ham sandwich about Harris now.

Our lakes are always crowded. I don't think it had much impact. At most for a short period of time then it went back to the normal level of overcrowding. LOL.
