H18 seats like sitting on a brick on edge

just picked up my new H18 and have to say I really like this boat! However, I hate the seats. They look great but sit awful. The seat bolster wraps around from the sides to the front leaving a hole where my butt goes. The seats probably an inch and a half lower than the front where my thighs are, and its hard as a rock. It cuts off circulation. I know it will break in somewhat but I may not live that long!! I called Xpress and was told they buy the seats from Wise. I have a call into them but I havent heard back. I took a seat base to an upholsterer and he said he would have to order material from them and completely rebuild the seats. It wouldnt be cheap. I just wondered if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to overcome it.

Mine have never been like that since new, of course mine is a 2012 so the eats may be different, however with my wife's back issues I have put a form fitting gel cushion on her side You may try that.

I’ve seen some people on XPress boats owners facebook page putting the millennium seats in theirs.

I didn't like the seats in my H18 at first but now I get it. At least for me the lumbar support in the back helps but no way I can lean back in them like I did in my Tracker. I don't spend much time in the driver's seat so it's not something I put much thought into. I bought the H18 for the no BS utilitarian bass boat it is and that's it.
