    Lake Amistad

I'm planning a trip to Amistad in April and would like to know the best place to stay? Thanks for any help.

Stayed at the Ramada in town last trip, it's pretty nice and had good trailer parking if you're towing. It's right across from DPS so it is fairly safe, alot of the state boys stay there

    Lakeview is another motel.

    Tommy Shields-(830)778-1376, (830)734-3248

He has a few trailers with 2 or 3 bedrooms located on Riverstreet off 90. Covered and lighted parking with hook-ups. TV in bedrooms and a big screen in living room. Grill to cook on. Deck with furniture to drink a cold one. $65 a night for 2 people.

Much better than any motel I have stayed at down there and I have stayed at all of the ones already listed.
