    True Grit

Took the 'ol lady to see it yesterday and was impressed. It's definatly not as good as the original, but for todays standards it was good. Not a big movie fan, but when it comes to shoot 'em up westerns,,,,, count me in!!!!

I guess I'll have to go see it when I get some days off. I am a big Duke fan so Jeff Bridges better do good.

I'll wait for it on DVD, I heard it wasn't very good from a couple of friends. Plus I'm not a fan of Bridges.

Pretty neat to see locations in the movie, that I have visited. Town scenes were filmed in nearby Bartlett.

I think that is one movie they should have left alone. Might watch it on HBO someday.

The remake of Stage Coach was terrible.

As usual, postive bunch. I agree it was a great movie but might be a good remake also.

    Re: True Grit (WB)

I guess what I am trying to say is I had much rather watch a remake of True Grit than most of the crap that try to shove down our throats nowdays.

To me a remake of any John Wayne movie is just pure non-American.
