Everyone will have the preference. I have tried many, but Suffix 832 has been the best for me and all I use now.

Power Pro is very good IMO, also Sniping raid is decent.

Lots of good options. I've always used power pro and haven't had a single issue, so I continue to use it.

I've tried some cortland 8lb last season. Still using the same line this season. Its holding its color quite well and i haven't broken it or my braid to flouro knot once.

I’ve also tried many. Spiderwire, kanzen, power pro super slick, power pro, 832, grand slam, fireline, Gliss, berkley x5..

best one for me is regular Power Pro.

longest casting was Gliss, none even come close.

I’ve played around with a lot of braids this year and so far 832 has been the best. The worst was Berkeley.

I’ve experimented with a lot of different brands and have found Sunline SX-1 to be my favorite. It’s super smooth and supple, and the color holds well.
I’m still not sure about YGK Soul sinking braid and Defier for “sinking” braid. I can’t really say it gets down much faster than standard braid. I haven’t tried Sunline’s XPlasma yet but it’s on the way from TW.

Nanofil, firelinr (stiff first day), and x5 all work well for me. Like Nanofil green, but no longer in stock anywhere.
