    Z521 with flashed SHO

Who is running a z521 with a flashed SHO? What prop are you running after flashing and what kind of numbers are you getting? Helping a friend set one up this weekend.

Yamaha T2 25 pitch. I have a 2018 521L that is currently running 71-72mph. Before I changed to lithiums, it would hit 74mph. The rev limiter was left stock. Gets out of the hole great, and I usually keep it around 60mph.

Those don't seem very fast for being pushed by a flashed SHO.....?

My Z521 was considerably faster than my Z521L. 71-72 for a Z521L is real good.

I repowered my 2011 z521 from an etec. It ran really well when it ran. 74.1mph. So far with the new merc all I have gotten is 68.7 . That’s also with moving to lithiums . I did just put an AGM back in to run livescope (mainly to add weight) because it’s not driveable over 68ish

The bigger boats don’t see as much top end gains. But getting out of the hole is another story. It never rises, just gets on plane as soon as I hit the throttle. My old 519 with flashed 200 was hitting 84mph before it chine walked too much to keep going.
