    Impeller?

I idled across a mud flat last Sun and reckon I may have ingested something. Water pressure went down and it quit coming out the pee hole. I fished all day cause I was gonna stay close to the ramp anyway. Only cranked it back up to idle 200 yds or so to the ramp. Alarm went off as I was putting it on the trailer. It was pumping water because I had pressure at that point but it wasn't coming out the tell-tale right like always... So when I got home I took the tell-tale fitting off, hooked the hose to it and poured the water to it.

Fast forward to today. Back it in and crank it up, it was peeing fine and pressure was normal. Idled out of the no wake zone and alarm went off. Look back and it's spraying water instead of a steady stream. Shut it off and trolled across the pocket and fished a couple hours.

ya'll think I jacked up the impeller last Sunday? Gonna pull it tomorrow and check it. Could it be something else farther up the line?

    Re: Impeller? (The Green Hornet)

I appreciate it. I know how to do it. I was just hopin' someone would say: naw do this... I just replaced it in last summer.

Why is it that at the classic they can get away with about 100 times more than what I did and still be ok to run for an hour back to the weigh-in 3 days in a row???

Should I be concerned about the thermosats or anything?

I do mine every year, regardless, its just cheap insurance, so its not that bad, its early in the season. Do my LU oil twice a year.
