Finally I joined the family Eyra 300xs

Finally joined the family, made the 8hr drive one way to pick this up.

    2017 Eyra 300xs combo
    200hrs

Been looking for a few months, wasn’t looking for a 300 but when a good deal presents itself you better take it.
Actually was looking for one with a new 250 four stroke, but may sell the 300 and still go that route.

Came from a Champion 202 that I ran for 13 years, hope the new one treats me well.

Totally different experience than what you came out of. This should be a fun learning curve.

Very much so! What little I drove it during the test run trim slowly and not to much, I was over trimming it.

I know she’s glad to be in my shop, and getting cleaned up.
The last owner didn’t keep it clean like will.

I had a 202 with a 225 opti years ago. Very nice hull and was a great ride. Transom was bad and I sold it to fellow who wanted to repair it. Switched to BCB a few years after that. Without a doubt the Cat is a better built rig. It does take a little time to get the champion driving habits out in the BCB in. Once you get used to it you will never look back, congrats.

Nice...you will find similarities in the ride of the Eyra from your Champ. Not the same, but you will soon see what I mean. Have fun!!!

Nice! Have fun learning to drive it. And when you get a minute, change your signature line.

Yep, learn it at slower speeds and don't be in a rush to get to upper range speed until you are more comfortable with it's "personality" at high speeds
Beautiful rig- almost bought one a few years ago looked just like this in Alabama!
